What do Cheveux treatments feel like?
Because the Cheveux laser system is self cooling, treatments have been designed to be gentle and virtually painless. Some clients may experience a slight warming sensation at the treatment site.
Can any area of the body be treated?
Yes, the Cheveux is designed to comfortably remove hair on all areas of the body, even in the most sensitive places like the bikini area, nipples and tummy.
The treated area may be slightly pink and tender to the touch but there is no downtime following the treatment and patients should be able to return to daily activities right away.
How many treatments will I need?
The actual number of treatments will depend on the genetic variants of the hair growth cycle of each individual person, but on average most areas will require 3-6 treatments.
After the treatment, how will I need to take care of my skin?
An SPF 30 sunscreen, with Zinc, will need to be applied to protect the treated area from any skin discoloration. It is highly recommended that you do not pluck, pull or wax hairs that you see in the treated areas, as this will initiate a regrowth phase in the hair follicle.
